Karbonn is planning to launch another tablet under its "Ta-Fone" range. Dubbed as Karbonn Ta-Fone A34, it comes with 1GHz single-core Cortex A9 processor along with 512MB of RAM.

This tablet has is already available through Infibeam.com for Rs. 7,290. The website is also offering a further discount of Rs. 440 by using the promo code "KAR440".

Karbonn Ta-Fone A34 sports a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800X480pixels. The tablet packs in 3,000mAh battery. It is a dual-SIM tablet that supports GSM frequency on both the SIMs. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, EDGE and Bluetooth. The tablet supports voice calling as well.

It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). For camera, there is a 2-megapixel rear camera and there is also a front camera. Karbonn Ta-Fone A34 comes with 4GB of internal storage, of which 2GB is user accessible. There is no word on when this tablet will be officially available.

Recently, Maruti has been at the receiving end of a lot of competition with the Honda Amaze aimed at its cash cow- the Dzire, but that is just the starting as in a few months, the Chevrolet Enjoy will be launched to compete with theErtiga and then there is a series of  the new small car launches which have  provided some tough competition to the Maruti’s line-up of small cars. When you talk about Maruti and small cars then the WagonR name has to crop up because it has been a big favourite of our market with massive sales. Recently there was a facelifted version of the WagonR launched and now there is talk of them bringing the Wagon R Stingray in India within a few months.

The WagonR Stingray will be sold alongside the current WagonR and the whole point of the Stingray model is to make it more premium and create its own USP. The Stingray (not to be confused with the Corvette Stingray) is a sportier plus more aggressive version of the Wagon R. As you can see that the headlights are sharper and more mean looking than the standard WagonR plus the cool black alloys also look wicked. The Stingray looks less bland while sporting a more aggressive stance and the rear spoiler also looks great.

Though, the basic design is the same these few styling tweaks have worked perfectly for the hatch. Inside, the sporty three spoke steering looks good and while the basic design is shared with the WagonR there will be new colours and also not to forget the gearstick is mounted on the dash (India will have a manual gearbox) rather than on the floor which gives easy access. Space and good headroom will continue to be there in the Stingray. When it comes to engines, it will have the K-series petrol engine on offer.

 

We expect the WagonR Stingray to hit the showrooms in about Sep/october with a slightly higher price than the current Wagon R, but looking at whats on offer we are sure people will not mind that.

Tata Nano Diesel is one of the much awaited cars in the Indian auto market. It is anticipated that the car will be introduced in 2013 in the hatchback segment. The maximum power churned out by the engine of this car is 33 bhp, which is quite acceptable in this segment. In addition, maximum torque attained by this engine is 51 Nm at 4000 rpm. In order to assist the mechanism of this car, the engine of Tata Nano is expected to be assimilated with a four speed manual transmission. Tata Nano diesel is equipped with a performance oriented engine and thus it is bound to deliver low emission and a decent fuel economy. The company has not made any official declaration regarding the test figures of Tata Nano’s fuel economy, but it is expected that the car will cover a distance of 40 kmpl, which is excellent in this segment.

In order to deliver a hassle free drive to its passengers, the company has incorporated independent McPherson Struts, coil spring suspensions in the car. Along with this, analysts are also expecting revamped suspension system and a power assisted steering wheel, which are some of the mechanical upgrades that will be incorporated within the car.

Tata Nano Diesel will be incorporated with improved interiors with upmarket upholstery. As per speculations, the car will have better bolstered seats to provide optimum comforts to its passengers. Tata Nano Diesel will be provided with sufficient space for the passengers of both the rows, resulting in a peaceful journey. Four passengers can comfortably travel in the car. About Tata Nano Diesel

Almost two years after launching the petrol version of its small creation Tata Nano in the Indian market, Indian auto giant Tata Motors is now planning to launch the diesel version of this car in the country by Sep 2011. The engine capacity of the Nano Diesel is speculated to be in the range of 600 to 700 cc and the Nano Diesel will boast the world’s smallest Bosch Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDi) system.

The Tata Nano diesel will be the smallest diesel run car in the Indian market as so far there are only petrol run cars available in the starting range segments A (Maruti 800) and A+ (Maruti Alto).
